Luton held automatic promotion chasers Blackburn Rovers to a goalless draw at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. The Hatters had the two best chances in the first half, with Kal Naismith and Cameron Jerome both off target from close range. To find out how the hosts rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Gabe Osho (STAR MAN): 8
Kept his place in the heart of Town’s back three and was easily his most impressive display of the campaign so far. Won his headers and tackles with real authority, also having the confidence to bring the ball out from defence when possible.
6. Kal Naismith: 7.5
Looked like he was destined to be on target again at Kenilworth Road only to fluff his lines from a well-worked set-piece. Held his nerve to always try and advance forward from the back even when under pressure from his opponents.
7. Henri Lansbury: 8
Fired up and got about the Rovers players, hurtling into a fair challenge with Edun that saw the defender taken off. Did plenty of the work off the ball to ensure Town stood up to the physical test in front of them. A real favourite with supporters.
8. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 7.5
Like the rest of his team, didn’t ever take a step back throughout the 90 minutes as the Hatters easily looked on a par with their automatic promotion chasing opponents.
