Luton were held to a goalless draw in their FA Cup third round clash against League One Bolton Wanderers on Sunday meaning a replay to progress to the next stage will be needed.
To find out how the Hatters players rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Amari’i Bell: 7
Another who stayed in the side as Edwards looked to win it at the first opportunity and was given a testing time of if in the first half when getting tight to the tricky Williams. Available when Town passed their way out, one incisive pass leading to a chance for Morris. Like the rest of his team-mates managed to get things back on track in the second period as Luton dominated possession and territory but were unable to get that winning goal. Photo: Liam Smith
6. Alfie Doughty: 7
Might have expected to get a rest, but had the full 90 minutes as Luton looked to go through. Quiet first period, but came into it more after the break, although set-pieces weren't quite to their usual high standard, as with 11 corners won, he might have expected to cause more problems. Involved in the most controversial moment in the closing stages as after crashing against the post, was clearly fouled by Forrester, VAR somehow not opting to award a penalty to the Hatters. 7. Sambi Lokonga: 7.5
Another chance to develop his midfield partnership with Barkley against the Trotters and not afraid to get stuck in, always nipping at the heels of the Bolton players. Happy to receive the ball under pressure and work the angles, he looked to advance when the chance arose, while went closer than most in the first period with an angled drive that didn't miss the bottom corner by much. Continued to influence proceedings after the break until going off for Clark midway through. Photo: Liam Smith
8. Ross Barkley: 7.5
Yet again was the Hatters most creative player on the pitch and never afraid to let fly when the chance presented itself, with two strikes that were easy enough for Baxter in the first half. Worrying moment when he hobbled off at the break but thankfully showed no signs of pain in the second period. Made some now trademark bursts through the middle as Town broke, his weight of pass always spot on for a team-mate. With the Trotters defending solidly, couldn't quite unlock their defence with the killer ball he wanted. Photo: Liam Smith
