Luton were held to a goalless draw in their FA Cup third round clash against League One Bolton Wanderers on Sunday meaning a replay to progress to the next stage will be needed.
To find out how the Hatters players rated on the afternoon, see below.
9. Tahith Chong: 6
So much was hoped of him going into the match after his excellent cameo against Chelsea last time out, although didn’t really take the opportunity that was presented. Always looked dangerous when driving forward with the ball at his feet, but too often dispossessed by the Bolton defence or had his pass cut out as any hopes of being the architect of a Town goal never really materialised. 10. Carlton Morris: 6
Chance to get some game time and sharpen up in front of goal after a spell on the bench in recent weeks. Held the ball up well when it was in his vicinity but the Bolton defence were able to keep him at arm's length fairly comfortably as he ended up dropping deep at times. One effort blocked in the first half, he had the best chance of the game in the second period, seeing a close range header beaten away by Baxter. Went off late on but hopefully it was just a touch of cramp. Photo: Liam Smith
11. Elijah Adebayo: 6
Looked to have the beating of the visitors defence early on, dummying Santos impressively to race away and have a shot blocked. That was as good as it got through, as his and the Hatters intensity, as Edwards alluded to, dropped after that, with the striker unable to possess the kind of threat he has done during in Premier League matches. Didn't have many sights of goal after the break either, getting too much on one header, before some miscommunication with Ogbene led to a late chance going begging. Photo: Liam Smith
12. Jordan Clark (SUB): 7.5
Dangerous from the moment he came on with one fierce drive deflecting behind for a corner. Always eager to get on the ball and bring it forward to link with Town's attackers, his introduction saw Luton become more fluent and continue their front-footed second half display. Had another crack but it was simple pickings for Baxter as booked in stoppage time for stopping a Wanderers break. Photo: Liam Smith
