Luton suffered a 2-0 defeat against an upwardly mobile Cardiff City on Tuesday night after falling to a quickfire second half brace. Harry Wilson put the visitors ahead on 53 minutes, while Will Vaulks then added a second just moments later as Town couldn't hit back. To find out how the visitors rated on the evening, see below.
13. Luke Berry (SUB): 6
On at the break with Pearson injured, but Cardiff then missed out the midfield, going long to their front men and his potential influence was tempered by the quickfire double.
14. Tom Ince (SUB): 6.5
Second outing for the midfielder and showed a good willingness to get on the ball and try to make things happen, but City weren’t ever about to let their two-goal lead slip away. One late shot straight at Phillips.
15. Harry Cornick (SUB): 7
Had a real go at trying to get Luton back into the game, with some excellent wing-play, sending one cross just too high for Collins, before his late curler was deflected narrowly wide.
16. Elijah Adebayo (SUB): 6
Good to see him finally get a taste of the Championship and won’t have a tougher baptism the going up against defenders like Flint and Morrison. Will benefit from the minutes though.
