Luton suffered a 2-0 defeat against an upwardly mobile Cardiff City on Tuesday night after falling to a quickfire second half brace. Harry Wilson put the visitors ahead on 53 minutes, while Will Vaulks then added a second just moments later as Town couldn't hit back. To find out how the visitors rated on the evening, see below.
9. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 6.5
Could have made a game of it in the second half as he hammered one effort narrowly wide but then really had to pull one back when teed up by Collins with 20 minutes left, slicing disappointingly off target from inside the area.
10. Danny Hylton: 6.5
Restored to the starting line-up as Town tried to give themselves more of an aerial threat against the gigantic Cardiff defence. Did his best and had a great chance to notch a first goal of the season from Dewsbury-Hall's free kick, glancing wide.
11. James Collins: 7.5
Carried on his excellent showing from the weekend’s win at Birmingham as did so much right. However, crucially when the big chance arrived at 0-0, he could only head wide from a few yards out after meeting Lockyer’s delicious cross.

12. Martin Cranie (SUB): 6.5
Earlier introduction than he would have expected, replacing Lockyer on the half hour and moving to right back. Proved he was an able deputy though as did his defensive duties well with one brilliant pass up the touch-line too.
