Luton Town conceded a late equaliser as they were held by fellow Championship strugglers Barnsley yesterday evening. Luke Berry had put the hosts in front, only to see Tykes sub Aapo Halme come off the bench to score with his first touch with six minutes remaining. To find out how the hosts rated on the night, see below.
5. Cameron Carter-Vickers: 8
Another who recovered well from Saturdays debacle against Reading as his usual poise was back. Energy levels were up to scratch as he is now the only outfield player not to miss a minute since the season restarted.
6. Martin Cranie: 7
One of the holding midfielders on the night, he struggled to break up the amount of possession Barnsley enjoyed in the first half, but was far more solid after the break, as Town looked like they would hold on for a victory.
7. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 7.5
Somehow showed no signs of tiredness from Saturday as he started again in the midfield and made some lung-busting runs forward to alleviate the pressure on Towns back-line at times.
8. Luke Berry (STAR MAN): 8.5
First start since the Championship resumed and he provided some real bite in midfield as well as a genuine goal threat. Cracking finish to make it 1-0, dragged narrowly wide and then sent Cornick clean through with some fine vision.
