Luton produced a disappointing display as they were beaten 2-1 by play-off chasing Barnsley on Monday afternoon. Striker Daryl Dike scored twice for the visitors as although Simon Sluga saved a late penalty and James Collins pulled one back, Town couldn't find an equaliser. To find out how the hosts rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Kal Naismith: 5
Another who played two roles, starting at centre half and then moving out to left back. Got caught by Woodrow’s through-ball for Dike’s first but did show signs of his crossing potential with a wonderful delivery missed by Cornick.
6. Glen Rea: 3.5
Started in his preferred holding midfield role but found life hard as Barnsley were able to regularly win second balls and get a grip on the game in the first half. One of two who didn’t reappear after the interval as Jones made early changes.
7. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 5
Found his influence hindered by an opening half in which he was on the left of the diamond, never really able to stamp his authority on proceedings. Late corners caused some danger while sliced his best opportunity over the top.
8. Ryan Tunnicliffe: 4.5
Game passed him by as Barnsley were able to dominate the midfield areas with ease. Tried to break beyond his attackers now and again to give Luton an option, but blazed over from 25 yards when could have kept a calmer head.
