Luton enjoyed a marvellous 1-0 win over fellow play-off chasers Nottingham Forest on Good Friday to take a huge step to reaching the Championship play-offs.
Kal Naismith bagged the only goal from the penalty spot on 37 minutes and to find out how the Hatters rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Sonny Bradley: 8
Had used his long limbs to slide in and make a great saving tackle as Forest came on strong in the second period. Unfortunate to be cautioned for his first foul and then doubly unlucky the officials didn’t flag Surridge offside as his clip led to a first red for Luton. Photo: Liam Smith
6. Fred Onyedinma: 8.5
Utilised in another new role as he went out on the left, his pace giving Forest real problems at times. Almost nipped in to put the Hatters in front, denied by Samba, while defensively he was spot on to prevent Spence being a major threat. Photo: Liam Smith
7. Kal Naismith: 9
His versatility proved a real plus as with so many injuries in midfield, moved to the holding role and played it impressively. Outstanding leadership to step up and shield Adebayo to take the penalty while might have had another too, heading over. Photo: Liam Smith
8. Allan Campbell (STAR MAN): 9.5
Town’s busy schedule didn’t seem to affect him in the slightest as the midfielder was just here, there and everywhere for the entire 90 minutes in what was a terrific display of pressing as he never allowed his opponents a moments peace. Photo: Liam Smith
