Luton continued their superb start to the season with a fourth win in all competitions, defeating Derby County 2-1 in the Championship on Saturday. 9. Jacob Brown: 4.5
Forward thought that he might have opened the scoring for the hosts in the first half only to see Rams defender Elder appear out of nowhere to put in a superb block and prevent him from doing so. Other than that though, his impact was fairly limited, restricted to just 16 touches of the ball on the night as the Derby back-line ensured he cut more of a peripheral figure. 10. Elijah Adebayo: 5.5
Was well contained by the Rams defenders on the night as he didn't ever look like finding the net for a third home game in succession. Didn't get many sights of goal in the opening 45 minutes, but was more of a threat after the break, nodding the wrong side of the far post from Krauß's incisive cross. Kept on by Edwards as Luton hunted an equaliser, but once they got that, was heavily involved in the winner, using his body well when a clearance fortunately fell into his path, his shot parried only for Morris to do the rest. 11. Carlton Morris: 6.5
The forward got into some good positions throughout the night as he really should have opened the scoring early on when meeting Clark’s cross only to nod wide of the target with the keeper beaten. After the break, he saw powerful his close range header quite magnificently saved by Zetterström, as it looked like it wouldn't be his evening when diverting another attempt behind. Kept on going though and was well positioned in stoppage time to pick up the rebound from Adebayo's attempt and bring the house down via a slightly fortunate deflection. Photo: David Horn
12. Cauley Woodrow (SUB): 6.5
Forward was brought on as part of a triple substitution as boss Edwards did all he could to try and rescue a point. The fact it turned out to be all three remaining in Bedfordshire though was thanks to the efforts of Woodrow as he took over set-piece duties with Clark going off. First his free kick was nodded back for Mpanzu to fire in via a deflection, before the attacker sent over another delivery which led to Morris winning it in stoppage time. Photo: David Horn
