Luton Town were somehow beaten 3-2 by 10-man Plymouth Argyle at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.
Having fought back from trailing twice thanks to penalties from Jerry Yates and Nahki Wells, the visitors then had skipper Joe Edwards sent off after 50 minutes. Despite playing for almost an hour with a numerical advantage, the Hatters still left empty handed when Jordan Clark's clearance rebounded into the net off Bradley Ibrahim late on. To find out how the Town players rated on the day then see below.

13. Kal Naismith (SUB): 6.5
Gave Luton an added dimension on the ball as especially when the visitors were down to 10 men, able to find Alli in front of him and also Bramall as the half progressed. Had his own pop from 30 yards as well but it was too central as the keeper saved easily. Photo: David Horn

14. Shayden Morris (SUB): 6
After such an explosive debut against Barnet in the Vertu Trophy, the visitors had clearly done their homework on Luton's latest attacking threat, as they doubled up on him from almost the second he came on. Had a few dribbles, but often ran straight into trouble and when he did get the chance to cross, his deliveries were, like the majority of his team-mates, cleared away by an excellent Pilgrims defence. 15. Cohen Bramall (SUB): 7
Came on with the instructions to get forward on the left and did just that, always looking to speed away and get the ball into the box, as he did excellently on more than one occasion, his best seeing a fine cross met by Makosso, although well saved by the keeper. Will no doubt be pushing for a start now. Photo: David Horn

16. Joe Gbode (SUB): 6.5
Thrown on for his debut in the latter stages, that was then extended by a huge 10 minutes of injury time and showed some positive moments in his brief cameo, a willing runner in behind the defence, although couldn't quite get on the end of Town's numerous crosses. Photo: Liam Smith
