Luton Town bounced back from their hammering at Mansfield with a 2-0 victory over Stockport County on Wednesday evening.
Nahki Wells opened the scoring early in the second half, before Callum Marshall netted a sublime strike from 25 yards to double the advantage as the points remained in Bedfordshire. To find out how the Hatters rated on the night, see below.

1. Josh Keeley: 7
Following on from Sunday's dismal showing, he looked absolutely determined to tighten things up before the contest. Had far less to do in the first half on this occasion, but when he was called upon, made a superb fingertip save to send Wood’s fierce blast over. After the break, almost beaten for the second time in two seasons by Norwood’s set-piece skills, grateful to see the inside of the post come to his rescue. Fisted away a dangerous cross, although fortunate that County’s finishing wasn't at its best with several late attempts off target. Kicking was a slight issue, especially when going long to no-one, but no doubt thrilled to earn an overdue first clean sheet of the season. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons

2. Harrison Ashby (STAR MAN): 8
First league start for Town as Luton went to a new formation that saw him deployed as a right wingback. Gave hints in the first period it will be a position that suits him, showing pace, close control and no little skill to set off on a brilliant run forward which was only ended when he lost his footing. Almost eager to cross the half-way line and show for his team-mates, he was key in the Hatters' opener. racing away to see his cross shot parried against Wells and hit the net. Continued to show endless reserves of energy and quality, as he almost picked out Marshall twice, also up in support when the striker went clear in injury time. Robust in the tackle, he could be an absolute star if he carries on like this. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons

3. Hakeem Odoffin: 7.5
Having stated he was heartbroken when seeing Town ship five at Mansfield, he did everything that Luton hadn't done a few days earlier, as early on, when Adun recycled Diamond's cross-shot, the centre half was there to nip in and crucially snuff out the danger. Had to stay switched on for lengthy periods in the first half, as County had much more of the possession, trying to move their opponents around. Undone once when Wood went on the outside and forced Keeley into a fine save. When Luton took the lead, he dug in to secure the valuable three points, topping the defensive contributions once more, not losing a single one of his six ground duels. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons

4. Mads Andersen: 7
Back in for his second start of the season as Town reverted to the back three that had worked so impressively at Chelsea almost a week ago, slotting in between Odoffin and Johnston. One wonderful touch saw the centre half take a long ball out of the sky before clearing the danger away, while he caused some chaos in the County box when meeting Walsh’s free kick, leading to a brilliant chance for Wells. Found Wootton a tough opponent at times during the second period, the forward getting on the end of some dangerous crosses, but thankfully Stockport's finishing wasn't up to scratch, allowing Luton to earn a much-needed clean sheet.
