Luton bounced back immediately from their 3-0 defeat at Birmingham City last weekend by picking up a brilliant 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. Second half goals from Cameron Jerome and Allan Campbell were enough for Town to triumph and to find out how the Hatters players rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Gabe Osho: 8
Got away with one slight error of judgement as Carroll nipped in, but was on top of his game otherwise, with an excellent clearance from Townsend's header. Might have won a penalty late on when his header was clearly handled.
6. Kal Naismith: 8
Confidence in possession is highly commendable but does come at a cost at times, one pass picking out Grant in his own box. On the flip side, vision and bravery on the ball started off a number of attacks, with his set-piece perfect for Jerome.
7. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 8.5
Although he won’t grab the headlines, it was yet another excellent display from Mpanzu who got stuck into his task and showed his reserves of energy to close down an experienced Baggies midfield whenever they were on the ball.
8. Allan Campbell (STAR MAN): 9
In a wonderful vein of form as he set off on a 50-yard run from his own half to set up Jerome who hit the post in the first half. Adding goals, and wonderful ones at that to his game, blasting home a fourth in nine outings from 25 yards to seal the win.
