Luton bounced back immediately from their 3-0 defeat at Birmingham City last weekend by picking up a brilliant 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. Second half goals from Cameron Jerome and Allan Campbell were enough for Town to triumph and to find out how the Hatters players rated on the afternoon, see below.
9. Admiral Muskwe: 6.5
Restored to the starting line-up and played in an advanced role behind the front two, but barring one early chance when he backheeled straight at Johnstone, struggled to get into the contest. Eventually replaced by Lansbury on the hour mark.
10. Cameron Jerome: 8.5
Full of running and alongside Adebayo, gave a physical Baggies defence plenty of problems all afternoon. Looked like his bad luck would continue when hitting the post, until a thumping header made it 1-0 as he opened his league account.
11. Elijah Adebayo: 7.5
Part of a threatening front two with Jerome as Bartley and Ajayi knew they had been in a game, the latter booked for hauling him down. Didn’t have too many sights of goal, crowded out when breaking free once in the second period.
12. Henri Lansbury (SUB): 7
Came on with half an hour to go and made sure Luton didn’t lose any ground in the midfield areas, able to contain the West Brom threats to a minimum.
