Luton secured their place in the second tier for another season with a drama-filled 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night. The visitors scored two own goals in the first half, before James Collins' penalty proved to be enough to keep the Hatters up. To find out how the hosts rated on the evening, see below.
9. Elliot Lee: 8
Some of his body swerves were wonderful in the first half as he eased away from the Rovers defenders to get Luton on to the attack. Will surely be back next term after making the starting 11 when Town had to get results to stay up.
10. Harry Cornick: 9
Ran his socks off throughout as he was such an outlet for Luton when they wanted to break. Won the penalty that saw Collins make it 3-1, while trickery either side of the interval almost set up the striker for two headers.
11. James Collins: 7.5
Limited service on the evening, but took the one chance that came his way from the penalty spot, as despite slipping, he slammed his effort straight down the middle. 14 goals is no mean feat in a first season at Championship level.
12. Kazenga LuaLua (SUB): 7
Wasnt the kind of match for him to have the same kind of impact as he did at Hull, with Rovers chucking the ball forward. Did go on a few runs to alleviate the pressure though.
