Luton secured their place in the second round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-1 win over Norwich City on Saturday. Striker James Collins netted a 16-minute hat-trick to send Town through and to find out how the impressive hosts rated on the day, see below.
9. Elliot Lee: 7.5
Almost broke the deadlock as his left footed volley flashed just wide in the first half, one of Luton's best opportunities. Put the work in after the break in a disciplined display until making way for LuaLua.
10. Harry Cornick: 8
Was one of Town’s main outlets in the first half as they looked to utilise his pace at every opportunity on the right hand side. Almost found Collins on a few occasions as he got his head up well when the chance arose.
11. James Collins: 9
Looked like it might not be his afternoon at one stage, missing the one real chance that came his way. All changed once he coolly converted from the spot, going on to complete a 16-minute hat-trick with two clinical finishes.
12. Jordan Clark (SUB): 8.5
Came off the bench to have a massive impact on proceedings. Two crosses led to the first two goals and then unselfishly picked out Collins for his hat-trick when he might have scored himself.
