Luton enjoyed a dramatic 3-2 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. The hosts trailed 2-0 in the first half, Josh Windass scoring twice, before hitting back magnificently after the break, Kal Naismith, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Elijah Adebayo all on target. To find out how the hosts rated on an absorbing afternoon, see below.
9. Ryan Tunnicliffe: 8
Retained his place in the starting line-up but had very little influence in the first half. Showed superb desire to get on the end of Adebayo’s cross after the break and beat Wildsmith to make it 2-2. Might have had another as well, firing over.
10. Tom Ince: 3
Couldn't build on an impressive full debut in midweek as part of a powder-puff Town front-line who barely saw any of the ball before the break and when they did, nothing came of it. One of three taken off by Jones at half time.
11. Elijah Adebayo (STAR MAN): 8.5
Brilliant second half display by the striker. Dragged Luton up the pitch with his clever running in behind, strength and hold-up play. Set up Tunnicliffe, twinkle-toed move almost led to a goal, before a majestic back post header claimed the points.
12. Glen Rea (SUB): 8
Put a few below par performances behind him by adding some real steel to the Town midfield as Wednesday couldn’t find a way through with the ease they had prior to his arrival.
