Luton got their Vertu Trophy campaign off to a fine start by beating League Two Barnet 4-1 at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night.
Lasse Nordas, Jerry Yates, Cohen Bramall and Shayden Morris were all on target for the hosts and to find out how Town’s players rated, see below.

13. Millenic Alli (SUB): 6
Slightly surprising to see him come on for the final 25 minutes with the Hatters already 3-0 to the good and youngster Lynch on the bench as well. Went upfront alongside Nordas to start with, but didn't really see a great deal of the ball. Photo: David Horn

14. Lamine Fanne (SUB): 6.5
Having remained at Kenilworth Road despite a number of rumours that he might have moved away from the club in the latter stages of the transfer window, he was back on the bench for the Vertu Trophy tie and had the final 15 minutes or so. His athleticism in midfield gave Town that bit of extra pep they required for the closing stages as after Barnet had been on top, Luton were able to finish the stronger. Photo: David Horn

15. Nigel Lonwijk (SUB) 6.5
Kept his minutes ticking over when coming on for the final 15 minutes as he will now hope to become one of Town's first choice defenders in the back three when Luton's League One season resumes against Plymouth Argyle next weekend. Photo: Liam Smith

16. Josh Phillips (SUB): 6.5
Currently on loan with Torquay United but due to it being a youth deal, he was able to head back to Kenilworth Road and feature in this group stage tie. Only had the final minutes at the end though as he didn't have much of an opportunity to shine. Photo: Andy Rowland
