Steve McNulty: 7.5 - Timed his challenges superbly as the Hatters kept another clean sheet.

Alex Lawless: 6.5 - Mixed it well and competed hard in what was a really hard-fought contest.

Jake Howells: 6.5 - The youngster enjoyed some success on the left and looked to get in some testing crosses.

Scott Griffiths: 7 - Another tenacious showing from the compact full-back.

Andy Parry: 6.5 - Added some real height to Town’s midfield, but may take a few games to get fully back up to speed after such a long lay-off.

Ronnie Henry: 7.5 - Captain enjoyed a fine game as he overlapped well and was unlucky to see an effort saved.

Paul Benson: 7.5 - Target man again gave the Hatters a real focal point and richly deserved his late goal.

Andre Gray: 7 - Given a rough ride in the first half, but took his goal well for a confident strike.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu: 7 - Powerful midfielder’s influence grew the longer the game went on.

Mark Cullen (sub): 6.5 - Busy, terrier-like striker kept City on their toes and played Gray in for Luton’s second.

Matt Robinson (sub): 6.5 - Sparked the Hatters from the moment he came on and his lucky strike set Town on the way to victory.

Luke Rooney (sub): 6 - Lots of nice touches from the newcomer who made promising cameo.
