Luton Town were handed an embarrassing 5-2 hammering at the hands of Mansfield Town on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts led 5-0 with an hour gone, substitute Nahki Wells pulling back two late goals for the Hatters, and to find out how they rated, see below.

Did make one good break forward in the first period that ended with him teeing Palmer up for an ambitious attempt that he put straight at Roberts. With Town conceding again and again, it only served to make his job an increasingly difficult one, such was the one-sided nature of the contest in the opening hour. When Luton did start to enjoy a spell of territory, albeit at 5-0 down, had a go from distance himself, dragging wide of the target, as the visitors never appeared to have the stomach for a fightback. His form now has to be a major concern for Wilshere, as having come back from Manchester City, he looks shadow of the player who scored for the Hatters in the Vertu Trophy final last term. A virtual spectator yet again, the winger had just 11 touches of the ball, missing a golden chance to halve the deficit at 2-0, as picked out by Jones, he volleyed tamely into the ground and over from six yards out. Didn't win a single duel either as a misplaced pass in his own half led to yet another Stags chance, while gave his full back Naismith precious cover, which meant the skipper was overrun. Absolutely no surprise he was one of the trio hauled off at half time as his starting place has to be under threat. Photo: David Horn

11. Callum Marshall: 4
Deservedly earned his first league start after impressing with his work-rate against Chelsea in midweek as although he once more put in a real shift, chasing lost causes and trying to be an outlet, was left to cut an increasingly isolated figure as everything crumbled behind him, Mansfield allowed to take complete control. Came off with an hour gone, as the summer signing will no doubt hope that performance was just a one-off. Photo: David Horn

12. Joe Johnson (SUB): 4
Might have been a tad disappointed not to start following his encouraging outing at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, but his first league outing of the season came sooner than expected as Wilshere made three changes at half time after an awful 45 minutes saw Luton 3-0 behind. The alterations sadly didn't work though, Town conceding twice more inside a further eight minutes, Johnson unable to clear Russell's shot off the line after it beat Keeley. Tried manfully for the rest of the contest, with one shot blocked, but it was always a losing battle. Photo: David Horn
