Luton picked up their first victory of the season on Saturday as they defeated Millwall 1-0 at the Den.
Teden Mengi’s terrific strike on 10 minutes was enough for the Hatters to emerge triumphant and to find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.

9. Jordan Clark: 7
Midfielder had one half chance in the first half when the ball just wouldn’t quite sit for him and he could only put his angled volley straight at Jensen, while he couldn't quite make a connection with Doughty’s low cross either. Might have had an assist himself after the break when he picked out the run of Walsh only for his team-mate to put his attempt too close to the keeper. Got around the pitch well as it was another combative display to get the Hatters a very welcome three points. Photo: Andrew Redington

10. Tahith Chong: 8
A big reason why Town took the lead as his deflected cross was tipped away before Mengi did his thing. Inches away from adding a second as his swivelled volley hit the inside of the post, also nodding on for Clark's opportunity. Such a good outlet for Luton, as he was hauled back more than once, while after the break, showed great energy levels to drive forward as Town looked for a counter-attacking second. Pulled one attempt wide and then dummied Clark's cross for Walsh as he looked much more like the Chong of last season. Photo: Andrew Redington

11. Elijah Adebayo: 7
Good work for the opening goal as he took control in the area and waited for Chong to get back onside before releasing his team-mate to send over a dangerous cross. Didn’t get any real sights himself, bar one attempt from a good Town break which was deflected behind by the hosts for a corner. Was well shackled by the Lions physical defenders, not getting much joy from the officials even when quite clearly being wrestled to the floor. Made way for Morris midway through the second half. 12. Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu (SUB): 5.5
Came on for Nakamba and immediately set off on a powerful run forward to relieve some of the pressure that Town were coming under in the latter stages as Millwall hunted a leveller. Almost responsible for that happening though when his under-hit pass to Walsh was cut out, but thankfully Kaminski saved his blushes by preventing Langstaff finding the net. Photo: Liam Smith
