After a goalless first half, the Hatters conceded twice early in the second period, Rhian Brewster and Jack Robinson on target, while they had to play the final half an hour with 10 men, Reece Burke sent off. Had Luton’s one effort of the second half, when his ambitious 25-yarder was easily caught by the back-pedalling Foderingham. With Luton almost immediately down to 10 men, it prevented any real chance of the midfielder having an influence

With Burke sent off for bringing down Brewster, he was straight on to bolster the visitors’ back-line and was able to make sure that the Hatters stayed solid and didn’t concede again.
