To find out how the visitors rated on another memorable evening, see below.
5. Reece Burke: 7.5
Groin problem clearly not as bad as first feared as he returned to Town’s back-line and like all the defenders, put in a real shift. Extra height proved key as Town were able to repel the Stoke crosses when they came in.
6. Kal Naismith: 7.5
Kept things simple during the first half as he made sure that the Hatters didn’t play themselves into trouble unnecessarily. Was able to take the odd risk after the break, grabbing another assist with a perfect cross for Jerome to make it 2-0.
7. Gabe Osho: 7.5
Moved up into midfield with Luton short on numbers and bar one misplaced pass, he was one of the better performers in the first period, smothering his Potters opponents. Kept up those energy levels after the break too as Town stepped it up.
8. Allan Campbell: 7.5
Not a night for fluent passing, but he made sure the Potters players knew he was about, limiting their time and space on the ball. Able to be more of an attacking threat after the interval and denied a goal by Allen's fine saving challenge.
