Luton moved into serious play-off contention after an excellent 1-0 victory at Swansea City last night. The visitors scored the only goal of the game with 18 minutes to go, substitute Harry Cornick netting an eighth of the season from Cameron Jerome's pass and to find out how Town's players rated on the evening, see below.
5. Gabe Osho: 9
Another who was quite magnificent on the night. Strong aerially and growing in confidence with every game as shown by his burst forward and choice of pass. Superb block on Obafemi, his pace is a real plus, while might have scored too.
6. Kal Naismith: 8.5
An early target for the Swansea fans in the corner, he was happy to indulge them, making sure Town had the last laugh. Confidence on the ball helped break the home side’s press while timed his sliding tackle on Christie inside the area perfectly.
7. Henri Lansbury: 8
Although Luton didn’t have a great deal of possession during the contest, it never felt like they were under the cosh, as the midfielder once again did all the things required of him, making his presence felt throughout the evening.
8. Allan Campbell: 8
Continues to time his runs into the area impressively, going close early on while had another header he might have done better with. Played an important role in the winner, nodding cleverly into the path of Jerome who set up Cornick.
