5. CB: Curtis Davies
Defender was a star during his time with Luton after progressing through the youth system. Made 62 appearances, scoring twice, before West Bromwich Albion shelled out a then club record fee received by Town of 3million in August 2005.
6. CM: Matthew Spring
Came through the ranks at Luton, spending seven years with Town before moving to Watford. Headed back to Hatters in January 2007 for another two seasons, leaving for Charlton in January 2009 after 357 games and 43 goals
7. CM: Kevin Nicholls
Joined Luton in August 2001 from Wigan, staying until July 2006 when he was sold to Leeds for 750,000. Returned to Town in July 2008, as Hatters won the JPT Trophy, before he retired on 238 games and 33 goals.
8. LW: Ahmet Brkovic
Croatian headed to Luton from Leyton Orient in October 2001. Made 223 appearances for Town, scoring 38 goals, leaving for Millwall in January 2008.
