Luton Town signed Barnsley defender Mads Andersen on Monday for an undisclosed fee, furthering their connection with the Oakwell club.
Since 2013, 19 players have represented both teams, with one of them going on to manage the Hatters too.

13. Martin Cranie
Defender moved to Barnsley from Coventry in August 2012. Stayed for three years as he played 122 times for the Tykes with one goal as he left to join Huddersfield. 14. Ryan Tunnicliffe
Ex-Manchester United youngster had a loan spell with Barnsley from the Reds in February 2013, playing three times for the Tykes. Moved to Luton on a free from Millwall in July 2019 as he stayed for two seasons, featuring in 68 games, with three goals. 15. Jacob Butterfield
Trainee at Barnsley, he had five years with the Tykes, playing 110 games, scoring eight goals, leaving in July 2012 for Norwich. Became a Hatter in July 2019 on a free transfer after leaving Derby as he turned out 17 times with one goal, that coming at Oakwell of all places. Headed to Melbourne Victory after his release by Luton the following summer and spent last year with National League side Scunthorpe. Photo: Liam Smith

16. Cameron McGeehan
Loaned to Luton from Norwich in January 2014 and had another spell at Kenilworth Road at the end of the 2014-15 season, eventually joining on a permanent deal for the start of the next campaign. Went on to play 106 times, scoring 31 goals for the Hatters before going to Barnsley for an undisclosed fee in June 2017. Had 68 games with nine goals including once against Town, then moving to Belgian club Oostende in August 2020, although announced his exit this summer. Photo: Liam Smith
