Two of Luton's new summer signings marked their debuts with goals last month, as both Fred Onyedinma and Cameron Jerome got their Hatters' accounts up and running on their maiden outings against Peterborough United and Stevenage.
They now make a list of only 23 players since 2001 to hit the target during their first appearance and the Luton News takes a look at just who else has has managed the feat in a special picture gallery below.
5. James Collins: Aug 5, 2017 - Luton 8 Yeovil 2
Raced on to Andrew Shinnie’s ball through the middle and held off his man before dinking a shot over Glovers keeper Artur Krysiak for the first of what turned out to be a debut hat-trick in Luton's drubbing of Yeovil.
6. Danny Hylton: Aug 6, 2016 - Plymouth Argyle 0 Luton 3
The popular forward got his Luton career up and running by slamming home from close range to put the Hatters 1-0 up at Home Park early in the second half on their way to a comfortable opening day triumph.
7. Elliot Lee: Feb 21, 2015 - AFC Wimbledon 3 Luton 2
On loan from West Ham, Lee came off the bench with Town trailing 2-1 to the Dons and scored with virtually his first touch, side-footing beyond now Luton keeper James Shea before the Hatters conceded a stoppage time winner.
8. Ryan Inniss: Jan 11, 2014 - Cambridge United 2 Luton 2
Defender had been borrowed from Crystal Palace and headed home after just five minutes from Shaun Whalley’s free-kick in this FA Trophy tie. Alex Wall made it 2-0, but the U’s hit back to force a replay that they won.
