Two of Luton's new summer signings marked their debuts with goals last month, as both Fred Onyedinma and Cameron Jerome got their Hatters' accounts up and running on their maiden outings against Peterborough United and Stevenage.
They now make a list of only 23 players since 2001 to hit the target during their first appearance and the Luton News takes a look at just who else has has managed the feat in a special picture gallery below.
9. Jon Shaw: Aug 11, 2012 - Luton 2 Gateshead 2
Came off the bench at half time with Town trailing 2-0 and immediately reduced the arrears against his former side, turning home Stuart Fleetwood’s cross, while Fleetwood himself made it 2-2 shortly afterwards.
10. Andre Gray: Mar 24, 2012 - Luton 1 Grimsby 1
New signing from Hinckley United took an hour to score on his debut, putting Town in front, as they were pegged back late on. Went on to notch in his first four games for the club too, setting a new record.
11. Dean Beckwith: Aug 16, 2011 - Luton 1 Forest Green Rovers 1
Centre half had arrived from Northampton in the summer and managed to rescue a point for the Hatters at Kenilworth Road, rising highest to head in from a set-piece and draw Luton level with 20 minutes remaining.
12. Lloyd Owusu: Jan 18, 2011 - Luton 5 York City 0
Near post header from a corner for the experienced striker who had joined from Adelaide City put the Hatters 3-0 up against a York side down to 10 men. The visitors eventually finished with nine as Town scored twice more.
