The midfielder played 82 minutes before being taken off for striker Josh Scott as the Shots went in search of a late leveller.

Ross Lafayette only played 34 minutes of Woking’s 2-1 defeat at league leader Barnet.

With Joe McNerney red carded midway through the first half, Lafayette was replaced by Kevin Betsy.

Andy Parry was also withdrawn early, as he went off after 55 minutes of Southport’s 4-2 defeat at Alfreton Town.

Striker Zane Banton started for Hemel Hempstead in their 2-1 win over Gosport Borough in the Conference South, hitting the post late on for the Tudors.

Fellow forward Lee Angol couldn’t make an imprint on the Whitehawk defence as Boreham Wood were handed a 3-0 reverse.

Charlie Smith was named in St Albans team for their 2-1 defeat at Chelmsford, although was substituted in the second half.

Defender Brett Longden did complete 90 minutes as Arlesey Town went down 3-0 to St Neots in the Southern League Premier Division.
