Luton boss Nathan Jones has firmly denied the club have any interest in a summer move for Motherwell midfielder Allan Campbell.

The 22-year-old Scottish U21 international has played over 150 times for the Scottish Premier League club since coming through the ranks at Fir Park, and was linked with a move to the Hatters this morning by Scottish paper the Daily Record.

That is not the case though, as speaking to the press this afternoon, Jones said: "No, not at all.

"It’s wrong of me to speak of anyone else’s players and the boy is at Motherwell, so I know Graham (Alexander, Well manager) very well, but no, no interest in that.

“People will talk, people will try to generate interest.

"A lot of people have used our name because we are the type of club that likes to get people, so to generate interest, I would imagine someone has put that in the paper."
