Luton youngster McJannet called up for Ireland U18/19 training camp

Luton teenager Ed McJannet has been called up by the Republic of Ireland for an U18/19 training camp to be held at Loughborough University next week.

The attacking midfielder has had an impressive campaign for the Hatters, signing his first development contract with the club on his 17th birthday in late January.

McJannet has been with the academy since an U10, and this season has not only seen him featured regularly in an U18 side challenging at the top of the EFL Youth Alliance South-East Division, but also in the new U21 development squad.

He will join up with the Irish squad next Monday, with the camp going on until Wednesday.
