Striker made four appearances during the league season for Town, but didn't play in the League Cup campaign as he remained on the bench at Wembley.

Led Luton to their second successive Littlewoods Cup Final after beating Arsenal 3-2 the previous year. Unable to see Town make it back-to-back victories though.
