The Hatters looked to have been on the verge of claiming a point when Harry Cornick equalised Kristian Pedersen's first half strike with one of his first touches midway through the second period. However, Lukas Jutkiewiecz then popped up late on to win it for City, with a controversial header. Read below how the Town players rated on the afternoon.
9. Izzy Brown: 7.5
Proving Towns most creative source as he is revelling in his advanced role. Nipped in to set up Cornick for his goal and then wonderful cross turned wide by Collins. Almost levelled with a superb solo run late on too.
10. Callum McManaman: 6
In from the start after his late cameo against Fulham, but with Town second best for large periods of his hour, could never really cause City any significant problems going forward.
11. Kazenga LuaLua: 6
One of the three changes made on the day as he tried to find a way through the hosts defence on the left, but more often than not, effectively managed. Late cross was almost perfect for Collins.
12. James Collins (SUB): 7
His presence ensured the ball began to stick upfront, denied a leveller by Camps fingertips and the post. Will be disappointed not to have put Town in front at the far post from Browns fine cross.
