After a wonderful great escape by the Hatters as they stayed in the Championship against all the odds, Luton fans have chosen their Goal of the Season. The Luton News ran a online poll recently in which fans had their say and to see just which strike was crowned winner, see the results, in ascending order, below.
9. George Moncur: Wigan Athletic (H) - 3%
One of the best moments at Kenilworth Road last season, as the substitute slotted home the winner during stoppage time to bring the house down and ensure Luton gained a massive 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic.
10. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: Bristol City (H) - 4%
Second in the list for the midfielder who notched his first goal at Championship level by cutting in on his right and arrowing a wonderful effort into the far corner, to set Town on their way to victory.
11. Jacob Butterfield - Barnsley (A) - 5%
Midfielder blasted a low drive into the bottom corner from 20 yards against his former club inside the opening few minutes as Luton went on to blow the Tykes away with a 3-1 victory, their first on the road of the season.
12. Kazenga LuaLua: Hull City (A) - 15%
One of Town's most important goals of the season as with five minutes remaining of the must-win match at Hull City, LuaLua set off infield, beat one and then drilled home from distance as Hatters defeated their relegation rivals.
