With 2020 finally over, Hatters fans have been choosing their best goal from the past 12 months by voting in an online poll run by the Luton News. To find out which strike was chosen as the winner from the 12 shortlisted, see the results, in ascending order, below.
5. 8th: James Collins v Barnsley - 2.6%
With the scores goalless and 19 minutes remaining, Collins pounced on a header from Mpanzu and ruthlessly dispatched his effort into the top corner for the only goal of the game at Oakwell.
6. 7th: James Collins v Preston - 3.0%
The striker netted the first of his hat-trick with a brilliant piece of forward play, as instantly controlling Mpanzu’s wonderful lofted pass on his chest, he expertly side-footed a shot beyond the advancing Rud
7. 6th: Glen Rea v Bristol City - 3.9%
Not known for his goalscoring prowess, the midfielder was left unmarked to volley home an imperious effort from Dewsbury-Hall's corner and emphatically open the scoring as Luton defeated Bristol City at Kenilworth Road recently.
8. 5th: Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu v Wycombe - 5.2%
With an hour gone, the long-serving midfielder collected Cornick's pass and bent a sumptuous effort into the corner, before tapping an imaginary watch in celebration to show what he thought of the Chairboys time-wasting antics.
