With 2020 finally over, Hatters fans have been choosing their best goal from the past 12 months by voting in an online poll run by the Luton News. To find out which strike was chosen as the winner from the 12 shortlisted, see the results, in ascending order, below.
9. 4th: George Moncur v Norwich City - 6.5%
With fans briefly back at Kenilworth Road again, they were welcomed in some style, as Moncur cut in off the left flank to whip a brilliant curler into the corner of the net as cheers rang round the stadium for the first time in months.
10. 3rd: Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu v Derby County - 15.6%
The midfielder’s second goal in the list as he smashed an effort into the net from the edge of the box and restore parity against the Rams as Luton went on to gain a much-needed home victory.
11. 2nd: Kazenga LuaLua v Hull City - 28.1%
Up there with the most important goal of the season as with just a few minutes to go, the sub gathered possession, beat a man and then from 25 yards, drilled a low shot into the net as Town beat their relegation rivals.
12. 1st: Harry Cornick v Leeds United - 30.7%
Sent away by Tunnicliffe’s pass out of defence and faced with on-loan Brighton defender Ben White, he managed curl a beautiful effort into the top corner to give Town the lead in a 1-1 draw with the champions.
