Town fall further behind leaders Wrexham
LUTON slipped eight points away from top of the table Wrexham after the leaders were 2-1 winners at Tamworth on Saturday.
With Luton enduring a frustrating trip to Hinckley in the FA Trophy, Andy Morrell’s side took the lead through Jamie Tolley on five minutes, while Jake Speight doubled the lead before half time.
Callum Wilson hit back for the Lambs in the second period, but Wrexham held on to leapfrog Fleetwood Town once more, with both sides still enjoying a game in hand over Luton.
