Town star compared to Barcelona’s Messi!

At first glance, the pint-sized midfielder has many similarities to the Argentinian maestro, with his close ball control, ability to conjure up mazy runs at opposing defenders, while both even sport the same shaggy locks.

One such dribble at Edgeley Park left three defenders for dead, and supporters watching on Premier Sports were quick to flood the internet with their messages of adulation for Luton’s new boy.

When told how he was being compared to a player of Messi’s genuis, the modest Kissock admitted he had spent his youth drooling over footage of the South American.

He said: “I don’t know about that. It’s lovely of them to say that.

“It was more Maradona than Messi when I was growing up.”
