Walker hoping to stay at Luton

The winger netted his second goal of the campaign in the 5-1 defeat at Gateshead on Saturday, while came on for the final few moments of the 3-0 victory against Lincoln City last night.

Walker, 22, has been loaned out to a number of different clubs during his three years at the club, including Braintree this term, and he remained desperate to stay despite not having had ‘the’ chat with new boss John Still yet.

He said: “I think that’s everyone’s aim isn’t it? Everyone wants to impress and carry on getting deals and so we shall have to see what happens.

“We’ve still got a few games left so I think they may arrange a trial game to see if they can have a look.”
