Luton make East Midlands Cup progress

LUTON Rugby progressed to the semi-finals of the East Midlands Cup by beating Bedford Athletic 25-3 at the weekend.

Jake Hobbs, Freddy Cook, Alex Sutherland and Aidan Kenny all went over, with Kenny kicking a conversion and a penalty.

Luton visit Havant in National League Three & SE on Saturday.

Stockwood Park IIs edged to a 12-10 friendly win over Old Northamptonians IIIs on Saturday.

James Pedder and Darren May both scored tries, while Shaun Bye added a conversion.

This weekend, Park host Peterborough Lions in Midlands Two East South, while in the same league, Dunstablians travel to Market Harborough.
