A dominant forward performance in the first half helped Park to take a 6-0 lead through two Stephen Pollock penalties.

Rugby then moved ahead against the run of play with a try and conversion after seizing on a handling error.

However, a further Pollock penalty gave the Park a 9-7 lead at the interval.

The visitors then came out of the blocks brightly in the second half, with Eddie Wiggins scoring a fine try, following good running and handling by Alex Lovell and Pollock.

The try was converted by Pollock, which he soon followed up with another penalty to put Stockwood 19-7 in front.

Park then had to work very hard to retain their lead, as they conceded an unconverted try, scored while two men were languishing in the sin bin. However, there were no further scores, and the visitors held on for a well-deserved win.

This weekend, Park are at home to second-placed Long Buckby, as they go into the game trailing their opponents by a mere six points.
