Luton’s tennis ace Shanice Marshall-Sefia is set to compete for Nike Junior National crown

The teenager has made the draw of the U14 Girls’ Singles event at the Nike Junior National Tennis Championships, at Nottingham Tennis Centre which started this week.

She will be up against some of the best players in the country as they all battle for the most prestigious accolade in national junior tennis

The Nike Junior Nationals have been running for more than 100 years and has an illustrious line of past winners including Andy Murray, Heather Watson, Tim Henman, Elena Baltacha, and Anne Keothavong.

Marshall-Sefia recently took part in the Sheffield Junior Open U16 Girls Singles where she made the semi-finals, picking up 415 ranking points.

In the U16s Girls Doubles, she lost in the quarter-finals with Hannah Davies to Florence Abbott and Megan Webb, while she suffered an early exit the U14s singles.
