Bedfordshire coach and Author Nicola Richardson, founder of Red Mountain Wellbeing, is working to change that through practical support and local partnerships.

Her sponsorship of Dunstable Women’s Recreational FC set up by Maria Goncalves, recognises the value of community football: friendship, movement and time for yourself.

They train at Dunstable FC on a Monday night. You can contact [email protected] if you are interested.

Through her Team Spirit™ podcast, Nicola also gives coaches and players a platform to talk about football and wellbeing, from building confidence to coping with injury.

Her community work includes:

• Kit sponsorship for Dunstable Women’s Recreational FC.
• Team Spirit™ podcast conversations sharing players’ and coaches’ experiences.
• Community programmes to support women with midlife challenges.

Nicola is looking to connect with clubs, employers and community organisations across Dunstable and wider Bedfordshire for further partnerships, sponsorship opportunities and joint wellbeing initiatives.

The focus is women in midlife, particularly those balancing their own needs with caring for others. Nicola has a Morning of Meditation planned for 19th December 2026 locally. You can email [email protected] to show interest or get more info.
