For football fans, the new Luton Town season is already underway. This campaign feels particularly significant as it marks the penultimate season before the Hatters make their historic move to the new Power Court Stadium. Generations of supporters have created unforgettable memories at Kenilworth Road, and while there will be plenty of time to reflect on its remarkable history, there is also huge anticipation about what the future holds. The journey of our football club reflects so much about Luton itself: resilience, ambition and a determination to keep moving forward.

That same pride in our town will be on full display during the Luton 150 celebrations. On 12 and 13 September, thousands of residents and visitors will come together for the Party in the Park and Proms in the Park weekend. These events will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate 150 years of Luton as a borough, bringing together music, entertainment and community spirit in a way that only Luton can. If you haven't secured your tickets yet, now is the time. It's set to be a memorable weekend and one you won't want to miss.

Autumn also brings another much-loved community event: Love Luton RunFest. Whether you're an experienced runner chasing a personal best or someone taking on a new challenge, RunFest offers a brilliant opportunity to get active while enjoying some of Luton's most iconic routes. This year's event carries a special significance as it will be the last chance to take part in the current course, making it a memorable occasion for participants old and new.

And if running isn't for you, we would still love you to get involved. Events like RunFest simply couldn't happen without the fantastic volunteers who give their time to support runners, cheer on participants and help create a welcoming atmosphere. It's a rewarding way to meet people, support your community and play a part in one of Luton's biggest events.

From football and music to running and volunteering, there is so much happening over the coming weeks. Whatever you choose to be part of, let's continue to celebrate everything that makes our town special.

Love Luton. Love where you live.
