Paying tribute to the NHS

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue, Bedfordshire Police and the East of England Ambulance Service joined Clap For Carers outside hospitals and care homes across Bedfordshire last night (Thursday).

Firefighters, police officers and paramedics joined the clapping outside the Luton and Dunstable Hospital, Keech Hospice in Luton, Bedford Hospital, St John's Hospice Moggerhanger and Ridgeway Lodge Care Home in Dunstable, to show their appreciation for the NHS and key workers.

Bedfordshire, Cambrigeshire and Hertfordshire Armed Policing Unit also joined the rest of the country in clapping to praise the work the NHS and care staff do.

On Twitter, both Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue and the BCH Armed Policing Unit showed footage of emergency services taking part in the Clap for our Carers as NHS workers and volunteers battle coronavirus pandemic.
