New Luton mayor Tahir Khan opens hostel for homeless
The first engagement undertaken by new Luton mayor Cllr Tahir Khan was the opening of James Court, a 34 bed hostel for the homeless.
It’s run by the charity Signposts Luton, which has been supporting the homeless for more than 30 years.
Chief executive Keith Porter said: “ We’re dedicated to helping people start over and ensuring they have good quality temporary accommodation. The right support system is a big part of that process.”
