The sister of a mum-of-four killed at the home they shared will stand trial accused of her murder.

Sabah Khan, 26, made her first appearance at Luton Crown Court today following her arrest last week for the murder of her sister Saima Khan.

Her older sister, a 34-year-old, care worker was found lying in a pool of blood at her home in Overstone Road in Luton, shortly after 11.30pm on Monday May 23.

Other members of her family, including her parents and her taxi driver husband Hafeez Rehman, were out that evening attending a funeral at a local mosque.

Sabah Khan did not enter a plea.

Judge Richard Foster fixed a trial date for November 21.

She was remanded back into custody as she awaits trial.
