Teen out with his girlfriend attacked

The victim was chased by two men as he walked along Parkside Drive with his girlfriend at about 3.30pm on Monday (7 September).

They knocked him to the ground before kicking him. He was treated for minor injuries.

Detective Constable Tracey Joyce, investigating, said: “This was a very unpleasant incident which has left the victim shaken up.

“The area was very busy at the time as there is a shop and school nearby. I would urge anyone who saw what happened, or has any information, to call police.”
