Watts wins Natwest award
Renowned for his innovative thinking, Watts has changed the format of competitions in the Bedfordshire County League and introduced a women’s team to the men’s league.
The prestigious event, which was hosted by BBC Radio’s Test Match Special commentator Jonathan Agnew, saw a current and former England cricketers including Steven Finn, Graeme Swann, Jenny Gunn and Michael Vaughan turn out to recognise the efforts of volunteers.

Hide AdWatts said: “It was an honour to be shortlisted and I was happy just to be attending the awards, but when my name was read out as the winner I was in utter shock.
“This award means a lot but is also dedicated to the rest of the Bedfordshire County Cricket League Committee.”
Watts attended the prestigious event with his fellow county OSCAs winners who included, Building Partnerships, Katie Metcalfe (Bedfordshire Ladies CC), Lifetime Achiever, Colin Tibbett (Dunstable Town Cricket Club) and Officiating, Bob Browning (Bedfordshire Cricket Ltd).
