Luton slumped to their second successive 5-1 defeat when hammered by Brentford in the Premier League at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.
To find out how the Hatters players rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Teden Mengi: 4.5
Another who fans were thrilled to see in the line-up, but any hopes of his inclusion leading to a solid defensive performance from Town were shattered when Lewis-Potter was left unmarked to shoot wide, Wissa opening the scoring midway through the first half. Another who didn't look anywhere near 100 percent fit, but somehow managed to prevent Lewis-Potter adding a second when deflecting his attempt over, ending up with 10 clearances. Once Luton were breached again just before the break, they were then undone badly afterwards. Photo: Liam Smith
6. Alfie Doughty: 5
Managed to get away once early on when his drive was parried away by Flekken, as it looked like he could get some joy on the left with Chong during the first period, although like the rest of his team-mates, struggled to contain the visitors attacking options, Wissa having a field day at times. Ended up with five tackles, the highest on the day for Luton, but with Town being put to the sword in the second period, his advances were few and far between. Photo: Liam Smith
7. Sambi Lokonga: 6.5
Another who gave those heading up to Kenilworth Road a massive fillip when finding out he was back in the starting XI once more. Showed just why Town had missed him early on, happy to receive possession, drive forward through the Bees press and then deliver his trademark crossfield passes to the left hand side. Sometimes caught on the ball as it will take a bit of time to get used to the levels again following nine games out, but got through 70 minutes without any reaction to his hamstring injury and will be key to any survival hopes. 8. Ross Barkley: 5.5
With Lokonga back, it was hoped that the midfielder would be freed up to cause some real damage to the Brentford back-line, but with Luton never able to get going throughout the afternoon, it was a tough 90 minutes. Still managed to make a few incisive passes, one to Chong in particular leading to a great chance but as the goals went in at the other end, he couldn’t do anything about it, his attempts to get Luton moving in the Bees half were often picked off.
