Hatters boss John Still will step up his plans to bring in a right back after club captain Ronnie Henry rejected a new deal at the club this week.

Although Still has signed the untried Curtley Williams from Ryman Premier League side Lowestoft Town, with only youngster Brett Longden a natural right back in the squad, when asked if he would be signing a replacement for Henry, the boss said: “Yes, but I’m not rushing on it, I’ve got things in mind.”

Although Still is away on holiday for a week now, he was expecting progress on new additions, adding: “A few things are going on and during the month of June, there’ll be a little bit of here and there.

“But I’m not going massive, we don’t need massive, just need to tinker a bit.”
